Energy audit | BTS-ENGINEERING
An energy auditis a comprehensive energy survey of an enterprise that includes: collecting source data, drawing up energy consumption and distribution balances, analyzing financial and technical information, identifying irrational losses, developing energy-saving measures, issuing recommendations and determining the effect of their implementation.
The purpose of the energy audit is to assess the efficiency of using fuel and energy resources and develop effective measures to reduce the company's costs.
The result of the energy audit is an information product in the form of a technical report. The report provided to the Customer generally contains:
- brief description of the existing energy economy of the enterprise;
- list and technical characteristics of power equipment;
- instructions on the examinations conducted (in the course of performing the energy audit) and the methods used;
- characteristics of the operation of existing systems of energy production and consumption with the provision of appropriate graphs, diagrams and tables, which reflect the modes of energy consumption and production, the results of calculations of energy and material balances, and specific consumption characteristics per unit of output;
- analysis of the current situation with indication of shortcomings and determination of energy-consuming nodes;
- recommendations with a description of the proposed measures, which are illustrated with appropriate diagrams, if necessary;
- results of calculations (similar to the calculations for the existing system), taking into account the implementation of the proposed measures;
- comparative characteristics of energy systems before and after the implementation of measures and results of technical and economic calculations;
- a list of reference documents and literature used. if necessary, the attached documents are attached to the report.
Energy audit features — correct determination of energy saving strategy and tactics, determination of energy saving measures, achievement of energy independence of the enterprise, reduction of direct and indirect costs for production and production costs, obtaining loans and investments.
Energy audit methodology — a brief examination of the state of energy consumption, energy saving and financial stability of the enterprise, a description of the initial data and measurement results, development of energy saving measures to determine the effectiveness of their implementation, calculation of savings and payback periods, research of the impact of proposed measures on the cost of production and the environment, conclusions about the feasibility of their implementation.
Energy audit allows you to find the right way to save energy resources, identify priority, low-cost measures and develop a perspective for energy saving of the enterprise as a whole, taking into account the production development plan.
Purpose of providing the energy audit:
- Assessment of the actual state of energy use
- Identification of the causes of occurrence and determination of the values of losses of fuel and energy resources
- Development of an action plan aimed at reducing the loss of fuel and energy resources
Result of work:
- Technical report on the energy survey conducted
- Recommendations for improving the efficiency of fuel and energy use and reducing energy supply costs
- Energy passport
